In a nutshell:

Freycinet National park is located 190kms north east of Hobart, in the centre of the popular east coast holiday area, you'll discover the white beaches and red granite rocks of Tasmania's spectacular coastline. This is a fishing, swimming, bushwalking, and boating paradise.

The site of one of the "Worlds Top Ten Beaches", Wineglass Bay is only one hour's walk from the carpark.

The town at the entrance to the park is Coles Bay, 40km from Bicheno.

Motels

There are no motels at Coles Bay, however, there are several motels in Bicheno. Inside the actual park boundary is a resort in a magnificent setting.

Holiday Units

There is a large range of self contained units available from quite basic cabins to luxurious apartments.

Hostels/Camp

There is a backpackers hostel in the caravan park, close to the township. Camping sites are limited, as the only space is inside the actual national park boundary. The few powered sites for caravans and motorhomes are allocated on a ballot system in summer.
